Districtwide Bridge Maintenance Underway

Uniontown, PA – Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 12 is announcing weekday, daylight, short-term, single-lane restrictions begun Monday and scheduled through May 2025 at locations throughout the district.

Crews from Green Acres Contracting will perform bridge-bearing cleaning, scupper, tooth and strip seal flushing, and shoulder work on 82 bridges throughout Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland counties – an infrastructure preservation investment of $397K.

The impacted routes by county include:

  • Fayette:  21, 40, 119, 711, 819, 1035, 1059, 2027, 3009
  • Greene:  18, 21, 88, 1007, 1011, 1019, 2011
  • Washington:  40, 70, 79, 88, 221, 1077, 2018, 2067, 8011
  • Westmoreland:  51, 70, 119, 130, 156, 286, 356, 366, 819, 981, 2002, 2025, 3013, 3075, 3093, 3103, 4010, 4025, 4073, 4093
Specific locations and corresponding municipalities are detailed on the attached maps.

Traffic will be controlled by signage, with added flagging in some areas. Job sites will move daily.

Activity on Route 119 in Connellsville, Fayette County, and Interstates 70 and 79 in Westmoreland and Washington counties will be performed overnight and notification will be provided in advance.
