Route 28 Bridge Inspections Tuesday, Wednesday in Allegheny County

​Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on Route 28 in O’Hara and East Deer townships, Allegheny County, will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, June 6-7 weather permitting.

Bridge inspection work will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in the following locations:

  • Tuesday, June 6 – Route 28 at the Blawnox interchange over South Oak Hill Drive

  • Wednesday, June 7 – Route 28 over Baileys Run Road, approximately one mile north of the Russelton/Creighton (Exit 13) exit

Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur in each direction, however, not simultaneously. PennDOT crews will conduct the work. Please use caution when traveling through the area.
