Route 136 Mon City Bridge Inspection this Week in Forward Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the bridge that carries Route 136 over the Monongahela River in Forward Township, Allegheny County, will occur Wednesday through Friday, July 19-21 weather permitting.

Single-lane alternating traffic will occur on the Route 136 bridge from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day as crews from the Markosky Engineering Group, Inc. and the Sofis Company, Inc. conduct routine bridge inspection activities.

Please use caution if traveling in this area. Remember, work zone safety is everyone’s responsibility.
