Route 1013 Saxonburg Boulevard Slide Repair Begins Monday in Indiana Township

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT is announcing slide repair work on Route 1013 (Saxonburg Boulevard) in Indiana Township, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, May 8 weather permitting.

Slide repair work requiring the closure of a portion of Saxonburg Boulevard between Klein Road and Francioni Lane will begin at 7 a.m. Monday. The roadway will close to through traffic around-the-clock until Friday, May 19. Traffic will be detoured.

South of the Closure

  • From Saxonburg Boulevard, take Middle Road northbound

  • Turn right onto Harts Run Road

  • Follow Harts Run Road back to Saxonburg Boulevard

  • End detour

North of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction

PennDOT crews will conduct slide repair work and roadway reconstruction.
