    Northbound I-579 Ramp to Bigelow Boulevard Inspection Friday in Pittsburgh

    Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing inspection activities on the northbound I-579 ramp to eastbound Bigelow Boulevard (Route 380) in the City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, will occur Friday, May 5 weather permitting.

    Ramp narrowing and a traffic shift will occur from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday on the following ramps:

    • Northbound I-579 ramp to eastbound Bigelow Boulevard

    • Bigelow Boulevard ramp to the Veterans Bridge

    Crews from the Larson Design Group will conduct the ramp inspections.

    Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
