Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing I-79 bridge inspection work in South Fayette and Collier townships, Allegheny County, will begin Monday, May 1 weather permitting.
Single-lane and shoulder restrictions will occur on I-79 in both directions according to the following schedule:

I-79 at Alpine Road in South Fayette Township – 7 p.m. Monday night through 6 a.m. Tuesday morning

I-79 at the Heidelberg interchange in Collier Township – 7 p.m. Wednesday night through 6 a.m. Thursday morning
PennDOT crews will conduct the inspections.
