    Daylight Bridge Washing Activities Next Week in Lawrence County

    Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing daylight bridge washing activities in Lawrence County will occur Monday through Friday, June 3-7 weather permitting.

    Bridge washing operations requiring single-lane restrictions will occur in the following locations:

    • US 422 Bypass between Route 18 and Route 168 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day in Taylor Township and the City of New Castle

    • Route 108 (Mt. Jackson Road) over the Mahoning River near Route 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in North Beaver and Taylor townships

    • Route 288 over Wampum Run near Route 18 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day in Wampum Borough

    Motorists should allow extra time if using the bridges.

    Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

    511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following regional twitter alerts accessible on the 511PA website.
