Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing culvert replacement work on Ewing Road (Route 3070) in Moon Township, Allegheny County will begin on Monday, May 12 weather permitting.
Culvert replacement work over Meeks Run will begin at approximately 7 a.m. Monday on Ewing Road. To allow the replacement work to occur, the roadway will close to traffic at the culvert located between Beitsinger Road and Coraopolis Heights Road through mid-July. Traffic will be detoured via Ewing Road, Coraopolis Heights Road, and Beaver Grade Road.
Additionally work on this $827,000 project includes utility relocation, approach roadway work, and pavement marking installation. The overall project is expected to conclude in the fall of 2025. A. Merante Contracting, Inc. is the prime contractor.
