Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting motorists of a crash at the intersection of State Route 3001 and State Route 8 in Butler Township, Butler County.
Motorists should avoid the intersection if possible. Traffic is being controlled by four-way stop signs due to the crash impacting the traffic signal. A four-way stop requires vehicles on all the approaches to a road intersection to stop at the intersection before proceeding through it.
The intersection will remain a four-way stop until the traffic signal is repaired. There is currently no estimated time for the repair. Motorists should use caution in this area.
