Indiana, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) District 10 is announcing a closure on Route 56 in Armstrong Township, Indiana County as Rhinehart Railroad Construction performs railroad crossing work beginning September 28 at 6 AM through October 11, 2024, at 6:00 PM.
The closure will occur between the intersection of Route 56 with Route 422 and Route 210 (Armstrong County)
The detour for the Route 56/156 railroad crossing closure on the east side of the railroad tracks will be to travel east on Route 56 and turn west onto Route 422, Travel west and turn left onto Route 210. Then left onto Route 56 East.
The detour for the Route 56/156 railroad crossing closure on the west side of the railroad tracks will be to travel west on Route 56 then then turn right on Route 210. Continue straight on Route 210 then turn right onto Route 422 East. Then turn right on Route 56 West.
