    A portion of Route 227 in Cornplanter Township, Venango County is closed due to a motor vehicle crash.

    The roadway is closed from the intersection with Eagle Rock Road to Pithole Road.

    A detour is posted using Route 8 and Route 27.

    The roadway is expected to reopen later today once the scene has been cleared.
