Inspection Planned for Paxton Street Bridge Over I-83 in Swatara Township, Dauphin County

Lane restrictions on I-83 this Wednesday and Thursday

 

Harrisburg, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned for tomorrow and Thursday for the Paxton Street bridge spanning Interstate 83 near Harrisburg in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.

 

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM tomorrow, Wednesday, December 18, and Thursday, December 19. There will be alternating right and left lane closures on northbound I-83 on Wednesday, and on southbound I-83 on Thursday.

 

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
