Inspection Planned for I-81 Bridges over Blue Ridge Avenue (Route 2030) in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County

​Lanes restrictions with flagging on Blue Ridge Ave.

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned next week for the Interstate 81 bridges spanning Blue Ridge Avenue (Route 2030) in West Hanover Township, Dauphin County. The bridges span Blue Ridge Avenue between Exit 72 (Paxtonia/Linglestown) and Exit 77 (Route 39/Manada Hill/Hershey).

Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Thursday, November 7.

There will be lane restrictions on Blue Ridge Avenue between Jonestown Road and Piketown Road with flaggers providing traffic control.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
