Inspection Next Week on Route 22 Bridge Over Swatara Creek in Lebanon County

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that an inspection is planned for next week on the Route 22 bridge spanning Swatara Creek about a half mile east of Route 72 in Swatara Township, Lebanon County.

Weather permitting, a contractor will inspect the Route 22 bridge over Swatara Creek on Monday, September 11, and Tuesday, September 12. This work will be performed each day between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM.

A right lane restriction will be in place in both eastbound and westbound directions of Route 22.

Motorists should be alert and drive with caution through the work zone.
