King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that maintenance activities are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks and Chester counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Tuesday, October 8, through Friday, October 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Greenhill Road will be closed between Sugan Road and Mechanicsville Road in Solebury Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Mechanicsville Road and Sugan Road.
- Wednesday, October 9, through Tuesday, October 22, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed weekdays between Dark Hollow Road and Point Pleasant Pike in Tinicum and Plumstead townships for patching. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Dark Hollow Road, Route 413 (Durham Road), and Point Pleasant Pike.
- Wednesday, October 23, through Friday, October 25, Route 32 (River Road) will be closed between Point Pleasant Pike and Greenhill Road in Plumstead and Solebury townships for patching. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Point Pleasant Pike, Route 413 (Durham Road), Mechanicsville Road, and Greenhill Road.
- Tuesday, October 8, through Friday, October 11, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Dilworthtown Road will be closed between Westtown Road/Creek Road and Westtown Thornton Road in Thornbury Township for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Westtown Road, Route 926 (Street Rd), and Westtown Thornton Road.
- Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Route 841 (Chesterville Road) will be closed between Stricklersville Road and Route 896 (Newark Road/New London Road) in Elk, New London, and Franklin townships, for pipe replacement. During the closure, motorists are directed to use Stricklersville Road, Appleton Road, and Route 896 (New London Road).
