Most Restrictions Lifted on Roadways in the Region Vehicle and Speed Limit Restrictions Remain in Place on Route 80 and 380

PennDOT has lifted the vehicle and speed limit with right-lane-only commercial vehicle restrictions on all roadways in the region with the exception of Interstate 80 and 380. The restrictions will remain in place on Interstate 80 and 380 due to continued winter weather.

Due to the winter storm impacting the region, vehicle restrictions were implemented and speed limits were reduced yesterday to 45 mph on many interstates and several other routes in east central PA. All vehicle restrictions have been lifted and speeds restored to their usual posted limits with the exception of Interstates 80 in Carbon and Monroe counties and Interstate 380 in Monroe County.
PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
