Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a portion of Mercur Hill Road (Route 1012) will be closed during daylight hours, starting next week, in Standing Stone, Wysox, and Herrick townships, Bradford County, for a pipe replacement project.
Starting Monday, September 16, 2024, Mercur Hill Road will be closed between Herrickville Road (Route 1017) in Herrick Township and Keene Summit Road (Route 1023) in Wysox Township, while a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), maintenance crew replaces deteriorating pipes.
A detour using Keene Summit Road, Rummerfield Creek Road (Route 1021), and Herrickville Road will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Work on this project is anticipated to be completed on Friday, September 20, 2024, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
