Bridge Flushing Tomorrow on Route 45 in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of single lane conditions tomorrow on Route 45 in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County, for bridge flushing.

On Thursday, May 4, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing on the bridge that carries Route 45 over the West Branch Susquehanna River between Lewisburg Borough, Union County and Montandon in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County.

Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging. Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicles, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.
