Bridge Flushing Next Week on I-80 in Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a bridge flushing project will take place next week on Interstate 80 in Columbia County.

On Monday, May 20, 2024 through Wednesday, May 22, 2024, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing as a moving operation, weather permitting. Motorist can expect to encounter lane restrictions where work is being performed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and are urged to drive with caution in the area.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
