West Park Avenue Utility Work Completed Early

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting area motorists that utility work on West Park Avenue (Route 3007) in State College has been completed. This work was done as a partnership between PennDOT and State College Borough and featured repairs to a storm sewer pipe as well as repairs to the sanitary sewer system.

This work has completed a week earlier than the original completion date of May 19. With the work finished, PennDOT has been able to lift the closure on West Park Avenue, as well as the detour around the work zone. PennDOT thanks area motorists and residents for their patience during this closure and detour.

During this partnership effort, PennDOT provided traffic control and roadway restoration work for the pipe replacement, while State College Borough replaced the storm sewer pipe, their sanitary sewer line, and curbing along Park Avenue.
