    Line Painting Operations this Week in District 11

    Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is advising motorists that line painting operations on various roadways in Lawrence and Allegheny counties will occur Tuesday through Friday, September 6-9 weather permitting.

    Work to repaint lines will occur from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day in the following locations: 

    Allegheny County

    • I-376 Parkway West between I-79 and the Fort Pitt Tunnel

    • Route 8 in various municipalities

    • Route 30 in various municipalities

    • Route 51 between the City of Pittsburgh and Curry Hollow Road in Pleasant Hills Borough

    • Route 48 Mosside Boulevard in various municipalities

    • Route 130 between Nadine Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills and I-376 in Churchill Borough

    • Route 130 Tri-Boro Expressway in various municipalities

    • Route 148 in various municipalities

    • Route 2026 Kline Avenue in North Versailles Township and Wilmerding Borough

    • Route 2031 Foster Road in North Versailles Township and White Oak Borough

    • Route 2035 McKee Road in North Versailles Township and White Oak Borough

    • Route 2039 Washington Road in North Versailles Township

    • Route 2037 McKeesport Boulevard in North Versailles Township and East Pittsburgh Borough

    • Route 2058 Saltsburg Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

    • Route 2064 Lime Hollow Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

    • Route 2071 Shannon Road in the Municipality of Penn Hills

    • Route 2073 Allegheny River Boulevard/Allegheny Avenue in Oakmont Borough

    • Route 2081 Old Northern Pike Road in the Municipality of Monroeville

    • Route 2083 Braddock Avenue in East Pittsburgh Borough

    • Route 4004 Pulaski Road/Harbor Edinburg Road in various municipalities

    Roadway line painting is an important part of PennDOT’s highway safety initiatives. Paint lines provide direction, delineation, and guidance to motorists.

    Generally, PennDOT is not responsible for paint on vehicles.

    Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.
