Speed Limits Restored on Interstate 80 in the Northwest Region

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has lifted the speed limit and right-lane-only commercial vehicle restrictions that were in place on Interstate 80 in Mercer and Venango counties.

Due to winter weather impacting the region, speed limits were temporarily reduced to 45 miles per hour. All speeds are now restored to their usual posted limits.

Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
