Harrisburg, PA – A soil remediation project is planned for this week on northbound Interstate 83 at the Paxton Street Exit in Swatara Township, Dauphin County.
This work includes cleaning up a diesel fuel spill along northbound I-83 at mile marker 44.9.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM the nights of Wednesday, April 19, and Thursday, April 20. The right lane will be closed and traffic will be shifted to the left lane.
Minor delays are expected. Motorists should drive with caution and watch slowing moving vehicles and construction vehicles entering and exiting the roadway.
