Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a weekend pipe replacement will begin tomorrow on River Road (Route 3030) in Manor Township, Lancaster County. River Road will be closed at the pipe location.
Weather permitting, the closure will be from 7:00 PM Friday May 19, through 5:00 AM Monday, May 22.
A detour will be in place using Penn Street (Route 999), Central Manor Road (Route 3017), and Letort Road (Route 3032).
This is the last of four large pipe replacements that are part of a resurfacing project on River Road (Route 3030) from the intersection with Letort Road (Route 3032) to the intersection with Penn Street (Route 999).
Paving continues on River Road. The contractor will work from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily. Traffic will be restricted to a single lane with flaggers providing traffic control. There may be delays. This work is expected to take several weeks to complete, weather permitting.
This project is expected to be completed by June 30, 2023.
