Pipe Replacement Project to Begin Friday on Locust Lane (Route 3024) in Dauphin County

Road will be closed to through traffic; detour will be in place

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a PennDOT maintenance crew in Dauphin County is scheduled to begin a pipe replacement project this Friday on Locust Lane (Route 3024) in Lower Paxton Township. The pipe is located between Franklin Street and Willow Road/Rawleigh Street in the township.

Weather permitting, work will begin Friday, August 18, and be completed by Friday, September 8. Locust Lane will be closed to through traffic at the pipe location. 

A detour will be in place. Motorists traveling east from west of the closure should use Route 22, Progress Avenue (Route 3015), Union Deposit Road (Route 3020) and Rutherford Road (Route 3017). Those traveling west from east of the closure should use Rutherford Road, Union Deposit Road, Progress Avenue, S. 34th Street, and Route 22.
