Inspections Planned for Next Week on Sinking Springs Lane, Locust Lane Bridges Over I-83 in York County

Lane restrictions will be in place on I-83

Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that inspections are planned for next week on the Sinking Springs Lane and Locust Lane bridges over Interstate 83 in Manchester Township, York County. Both bridges span the interstate between Exit 22 (Route 181/N. George Street) and Exit 24 (Route 238/Emigsville).

Weather permitting, inspections will be performed from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 28. There will be left lane closures on northbound and southbound I-83 during work hours.

Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
