Traffic restrictions from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today an inspection is scheduled for tomorrow on the Route 462 (East King Street) Bridge over the Conestoga River between Lancaster and East Lampeter townships, Lancaster County.
Weather permitting, the bridge will be inspected from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Wednesday, September 25. There will be lane restrictions on the bridge during work hours.
Traffic will be restricted in one direction at a time. Work will begin in the eastbound direction, (Lancaster Township to East Lampeter Township) and then move to the westbound (East Lampeter Township to Lancaster Township) direction. The right lane will be closed during this inspection.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
