Traffic will be restricted on I-83
Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today there will be traffic restrictions this week on Interstate 83 in York County so an inspection can be performed on the Pleasant View Road (T-970) bridge spanning the interstate at Exit 38 (Reesers Summit) in Fairview Township.
Weather permitting, an inspection will be performed Wednesday, November 15, and Thursday, November 16, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM on the Pleasant View Road bridge spanning the interstate. There will be alternating left and right lane restrictions on southbound I-83 on Wednesday and on northbound I-83 on Thursday.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the inspection crews.
