Bridge carrying Route 283 over Route 72 to be inspected
Harrisburg, PA – Motorists in Lancaster County are advised there will be lane restrictions this week on northbound and southbound Route 72 (Manheim Pike) in Manheim Township so the Route 283 bridges spanning the highway can be inspected.
Weather permitting, this work will be performed tomorrow, Wednesday, April 12, and Thursday, April 13.
Tomorrow, alternating lanes will be restricted on southbound Route 72 at the bridge. These restrictions will be in place from approximately 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
On Thursday, alternating lanes will be restricted on northbound Route 72 at the bridge. These restrictions will be in place from approximately 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Travelers are reminded to be alert for these operations, to obey work zone signs, and to use caution when driving through work zones for their safety, as well as for the safety of the road crews.
