    ​ Update on Broadway (Route 194) Resurfacing Project in Hanover Borough, York County

    Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that a resurfacing project on Route 194 (Broadway) in Hanover Borough, York County, is expected to be substantially completed by late November. This project extends 1.76 miles from the intersection with Route 116 (York Street) and N. Railroad Street to the intersection with Eisenhower Drive and Moulstown Road,

    Some minor finishing work will remain after that but will result in minimal impacts to traffic. All work is weather dependent.

    JVI Group, Inc., of York Springs, PA, is the contractor on this $1,527,713 project.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
