King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will be performing utility construction on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restrictions:
Bucks County
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) between Trewigtown Road and Hilltown Pike in New Britain Township;
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 232 (Windy Bush Road) between Aquetong Road and Pidcock Creek Road in Solebury Township;
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Hilltown Pike between Township Line Road and Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) in New Britain Township;
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on New Galena Road between Barry Road and Route 152 (Limekiln Pike) in New Britain Township; and
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on New Galena Road between Barry Road and Hilltown Pike in New Britain Township.
Chester County
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 21, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled northbound on Route 352 (Chester Road) between Boot Road and Paoli Pike in East Goshen Township;
- Tuesday, April 18, through Sunday, June 18, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure including weekends is scheduled in both directions on Route 10 (Limestone Road) between Bell Tower Lane and Street Road in Lower Oxford Township; and
- Monday, April 24, through Tuesday, May 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure with flagging is scheduled in both directions on Route 113 (Dayton Street) between Route 113 (Freemont Street) and High Street in Phoenixville Borough.
Delaware County
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, April 28, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike) between Creek Road and Ring Road in Chadds Ford Township.
Montgomery County
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled in both directions on Route 309 (Bethlehem Pike) between Walnut Street and Broad Street in Hatfield Township; and
- Monday, April 17, through Friday, June 30, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a weekday lane closure is scheduled on Doylestown Road between County Line Road and Meadow Glen Road in Montgomery Township.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete these projects under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
