King of Prussia, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that PECO Energy will begin utility construction on U.S. 13 (38th Street) in Philadelphia beginning Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Tuesday, January 2, 2024, through Friday, January 19, 2024, a 24/7 lane closure is scheduled on northbound U.S. 13 (38th Street) between Spruce Street and U.S. 13 (Woodland Avenue).
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through or near the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PECO Energy will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
