ITS CCTV Camera Upgrades Scheduled Next Week on I-76, U.S 30, Route 100 in Philadelphia, Chester Counties

King of Prussia, PA The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that ITS CCTV (closed-circuit TV) camera upgrades are scheduled next week on Interstate 76, U.S. 30, and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) in Philadelphia and Chester counties.

Motorists are advised of weekday travel restrictions on Tuesday, April 2, through Friday, April 12, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the following locations:

  • Eastbound I-76 between the University Avenue and the Route 291 interchanges in Philadelphia.
  • Westbound U.S. 30 (Coatesville-Downingtown Bypass/Exton Bypass) between the Route 113 (Uwchlan Avenue) overpass and Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) Interchange in East Caln and West Whiteland townships, Chester County.
  • Northbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between the Boot Road overpass and Mountain View Drive in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.
  • Southbound Root 100 (Pottstown Pike) between the Boot Road overpass and the Kirkland Avenue overpass in West Whiteland Township, Chester County.
  • Northbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between the Phoenixville Pike overpass and Kirkland Avenue overpass in West Goshen Township, Chester County.
  • Northbound Route 100 (Pottstown Pike) between U.S. 202 and the Phoenixville Pike overpass in West Goshen Township, Chester County.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
