Motorists are advised to allow extra time for travel through the work area. The schedule is weather dependent.

The core borings are for PennDOT's upcoming I-95/GR6 and I-95/BR3 projects. Section GR6 will reconstruct southbound I-95 between Frankford Avenue and the I-676/Vine Street Expressway. Section BR3 includes reconstruction of the northbound lanes of I-95 from Wheatsheaf Lane to just north of Margaret Street. Both projects are tentatively scheduled for construction in late 2024 or early 2025.
