King of Prussia PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today that various construction activities are scheduled on several state highways in Bucks, Chester, and Montgomery counties.
The work schedules and locations are:
Bucks County
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Bristol Road/Gibson Road between Butler Avenue and Bensalem Boulevard in New Britain, Warrington, Doylestown, Warwick, Northampton, Lower Southampton, and Bensalem townships and Chalfont Borough for line striping;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Heacock Road/Oxford Valley Road/Bristol Oxford Valley Road/Bath Road/Bath Street between Stony Hill Road and Otter Street in Lower Makefield, Falls, Middletown, and Bristol townships and Bristol Borough for line striping;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on County line Road between the U.S. 202 Parkway and Route 532 (Bustleton Pike) in Montgomery, Horsham, Hatboro, Upper Moreland, and Lower Moreland townships, Montgomery County and Warrington, Warminster, Upper Southampton, Lower Southampton, Bucks County for line striping;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Almshouse Road between Butler Avenue and Route 332 (Jacksonville Road) in New Britain, Doylestown, Warwick, and Northampton townships for line striping; and
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 63 (Woodhaven Road) between the Philadelphia line and the I-95 Interchange in Bensalem Township for line striping.
Chester County
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Business U.S. 30 (Lancaster Avenue/Lincoln Highway) between the U.S. 30 and the U.S. 202 interchanges in Sadsbury, Valley, Caln, East Caln and West Whiteland townships, City of Coatesville, and Downingtown Borough for line striping; and
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 841 (Coatesville Road/Chatham Road/Prospect Avenue/Wickerton Road/Chesterville Road between Route 926 (Street Road) and the Maryland State line in London Grove and Franklin townships and West Grove Borough for line striping.
Montgomery County
- Monday, July 31, through Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Hanover Street at the Chestnut Street Intersection in Pottstown Borough for ADA ramp installation;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Hanover Street at the Walnut Street Intersection in Pottstown Borough for ADA ramp installation;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Main Street) at the Summit Street Intersection in Souderton Borough for ADA ramp installation;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Main Street) at the Church Street Intersection in Souderton Borough for ADA ramp installation;
- Monday, July 31, through Friday August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure is scheduled on Route 113 (Main Street) at the Green Street Intersection in Souderton Borough for ADA ramp installation; and
- Friday, August 4, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, a lane closure with flagging is scheduled on southbound Route 29 (Gravel Pike) between Route 73 (Big Road) and Spring Mount Road in Lower Frederick Township for bridge inspection.
Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because slowdowns may occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
