Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that construction will begin next week on Route 1004 (Old Berwick Road) in South Centre Township, Columbia County, for a water main project.
Beginning on Monday, June 10, 2024, traffic on Old Berwick Road between Naus Way and Route 2028 (Market Street) will be restricted to a single lane between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Flaggers will be directing traffic through the work zone. The installation of a new water main will be completed by a private contractor working for Veolia Water.
