Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a resurfacing project begins next week on Route 3004 (Valley Street) in Duboistown Borough and Armstrong Township, Lycoming County.
On Monday, June 10, 2024, Valley Street will be closed daily between just south of the Valley Inn restaurant in Duboistown Borough and the bridge over Mosquito Creek in Armstrong Township while Big Rock Paving, LLC., begins work on the resurfacing project. A detour using Route 3004 (Jacks Hollow Road) and Route 654 will be in place while work is being performed. Work will be performed Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM, weather permitting.
Residents and deliveries will have access to homes within the project limits via flaggers at each end of the project.
Motorists should be alert, slow down, and expect delays in travel.
Big Rock Paving, LLC., is the prime contractor for this $361,361 resurfacing project. Work on this project includes milling of the existing road, resurfacing, line painting, guide rail upgrades, and tree trimming. Work is anticipated to be completed by July 2024.
