Resurfacing Project on Route 104 in Franklin and Center townships, Snyder County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that a resurfacing project begins today on Route 104 between Middleburg Borough in Franklin Township and Penns Creek in Center Township, Snyder County.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew, began work on Route 104 between Route 1005 (New Berlin Highway) in Middleburg Borough and just north of Bowersox Road in Center Township. Work will be performed during daylight hours. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions with flagging where work is being performed.

Work on this project includes milling of the existing roadway and resurfacing. Work is expected to be completed by the end of August, weather permitting.
