Maintenance Project on Front Street in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists who travel Front Street and the Veterans Memorial Bridge (Route 61) in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County are advised of a maintenance project this week.

Today, Monday, March 3, 2025, and tomorrow, Tuesday, March 4, 2025, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing crack sealing operations along Front Street and the on and off ramps to the Veterans Memorial Bridge on the Northumberland side of the bridge.

Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM each day. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions while work is being performed.

Motorists should drive with caution in the area, obey signs and flaggers, and expect minor delays.
