Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of lane restrictions this week on Route 147 in both directions in West Chillisquaque and Point townships, Northumberland County and Winfield in Union Township, Union County, for a bridge cleaning project.
Starting on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, the contractor, DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC., will be cleaning the bridges on Route 147 between Route 45 in Montandon, West Chillisquaque Township in Northumberland County and Route 15 in Winfield, Union Township, Union County. Motorists can expect lane restrictions where work is being performed. Work will be performed during daylight hours, weather permitting.
DeAngelo Contracting Services, LLC., is the prime contractor for this project. Work on this project includes washing of bridge decks, expansion dams, and bearings of the bridges along Route 147, also known as the Northern Section of the Central Susquehanna Valley Transportation Project (CSVT).
