Lane Restriction Next Week on Interstate 80 EB in Columbia County

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction next week on Interstate 80 eastbound in Hemlock Township, Columbia County, for a roadway repair project.

Between Monday, February 10, 2025, at 7:00 PM and Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 6:00 AM, the contractor, New Enterprise Stone and Lime, Co., will be performing roadway repairs near mile marker 233, located approximately 1 mile east of Exit 232 (Route 42 / Buckhorn). Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted where work is being performed.

Motorists should be alert, slow down, expect delays in travel, watch for stopped or slow-moving vehicle, watch for lane changes, and drive with caution through the work zone.

This overnight project is part of the multi-year reconstruction and resurfacing project on Interstate 80 in Columbia County. New Enterprise Stone and Lime Co., Inc. is the prime contractor for this $11.1 million reconstruction and resurfacing project. Work includes shoulder reconstruction, roadway resurfacing, structure preservation, signing, and other miscellaneous work. Work on this project began in 2024 and is anticipated to be completed in 2025.
