Montoursville, PA – Greg Dibble is the District Office Employee of the Quarter for the first quarter, 2024.
Greg Dibble currently serves as the Municipal Services Manager in the District Maintenance Services Unit. In this position he is responsible for assisting municipalities and counties within District 3 to navigate Liquid Fuels Funding and many other programs offered through the commonwealth.
In addition, Greg serves as a source of information and direction for those municipalities in applying for expending funding from these Liquid Fuel programs. He serves as a liaison between PennDOT and local government, providing technical assistance, assisting with yearly reports, road bonding, and process road additions to the Municipal Liquid Fuel Inventory on which payments are based.
Greg supervises three employees within the Municipal Services Unit, all of which have expanded their outreach to the local municipalities and counties under Greg's guidance. He has encouraged boots on the ground coordination with local municipalities to support projects, grants, and other concerns that are brought to the District's attention.
In the Spring of 2023, Greg was instrumental in organizing five outreach meetings with county and local municipalities to re-introduce face-to-face meetings with PennDOT officials. During these meetings local officials were able to meet with specialized units to ask questions. The meetings received positive feedback from those who attended.
Greg has a positive attitude and is always willing to assist on projects where he can. He has gone out of his way to aid co-workers and municipal and county partners upon request.
A resident of Hughesville, Greg lives with his wife Beth and their son Quintin and daughter Harper. He has been with PennDOT for 20 years, 17 of them spent in the Municipal Services Unit. In his spare time, Greg enjoys camping, fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, ATV riding and spending time with his family.
Congratulations to Greg Dibble, the PennDOT District 3 Employee of the Quarter.
