Bridge Maintenance Today on the Milton River Bridge in Union and Northumberland Counties

Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge maintenance project is scheduled today on Route 642 (Milton River Bridge) in Union and Northumberland Counties.

On Tuesday, May 23, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing light inspections and electrical work on the bridge between River Road in West Milton, Union County and South Front Street in Milton Borough, Northumberland County.

Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, weather permitting. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed and are urged to drive with caution in the area.
