Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised of a lane restriction this week on Route 61 (Veterans Memorial Bridge) in the City of Sunbury, Northumberland County, for maintenance work.
On Tuesday, April 18, 2023, and Wednesday, April 19, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing bridge flushing and electrical work on the Veterans Memorial Bridge. Motorists can expect the right (driving) lane to be restricted. Work will be performed between the hours of 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.
Motorists should be slow down, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
