June 12, 4:00 PM Update: The bridge maintenance project scheduled for tomorrow on Route 45 has been rescheduled. Work will now take place on Tuesday, June 20.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised a bridge maintenance project on the Route 45 (Lewisburg River Bridge) in Union and Northumberland Counties will take place tomorrow.
On Tuesday, June 13, 2023, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be removing light poles for repair and painting on the bridge between Water Street in Lewisburg Borough, Union County and Route 405 in West Chillisquaque Township, Northumberland County.
Work will take place between the hours of 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM, weather permitting. Motorists can expect single lane conditions with flagging where work is being performed and are urged to drive with caution in the area.
