    10:30 AM Update: Roads Impacted by Flooding, Downed Trees or Utilities in North Central Pennsylvania

    ​Montoursville, PA – Motorists in north central Pennsylvania are advised the following roads in the area (listed by county) are closed or have a lane restriction due to flooding, downed trees or utilities. Updates will be sent periodically.

    Northumberland

    • Route 54 between Main Street in Turbotville and Warrior Run Boulevard in Lewis Township.

    Sullivan

    • Route 2002 (Nordmont Road) between Main Street and Whiskey Run Road in Davidson Township.

    Bradford

    • Route 1043 (Riverside Drive) between Goose Hollow Road and Route 1052 (Ridge Road) in Sheshequin Township.
    • Route 1011 (Ford Street) between Route 706 in Stevens Township and Hicks Avenue in Pike Township.

    Columbia

    • Route 4025 (Ants Hill Road) between Grey Hollow Road and Route 4023 (Spruce Run Road) in Madison Township.

    Snyder

    • (New) Route 15 South between Blue Hill Drive and Tower Road, Monroe Township. (Lane restriction.)

     
    PennDOT cautions motorists to never drive through flooded roadways, as it takes just two feet of fast-moving water to float a car. Anyone who drives around barriers intended to close a road can face increased penalties if emergency responders are called to rescue motorists who disregard traffic control signs.

    Motorists can check conditions on major roadways by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras. 511PA is also available through a smartphone application for iPhone and Android devices, by calling 5-1-1, or by following local alerts on X.
