10/16/2023 UPDATE: Route 973 is open in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County.
Montoursville, PA – Motorists are advised that Route 973 is closed in both directions between Routes 287 and 3007 (Pine Run Road) in Mifflin Township, Lycoming County due to downed utility lines.
A detour using Doctor Road is in effect. The roadway will be reopened once utility lines can be safely removed.
Motorists should be alert, expect delays in travel, and drive with caution.
