PennDOT Reopens Route 2001 in Derry Township, Mifflin County

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced it completed a box culvert replacement project along Route 2001 (Long Lane) in Derry Township, Mifflin County. Replacing the box, which spans a branch of Jacks Creek approximately one mile north of Maitland, improved its overall condition rating from fair to good.

PennDOT's Mifflin County Maintenance Organization lifted the detour it implemented in July at approximately 9:00 AM today.

Motorists are encouraged to "Know Before They Go" by checking conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
