PennDOT, Brown Township to Host Plans Display October 16

Clearfield, PA – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and Brown Township invite the public to attend the public plans display for their T-439 (Railroad Street) bridge replacement project on Monday, October 16. The purpose is to introduce the project and gather public input related to the project, which will replace the existing structure spanning the Kishacoquillas Creek.

Attendees will have the chance to review the project displays and participate in discussions with the project team members from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Reedsville Firehall Banquet Room at 16 Firehouse Boulevard, Reedsville, PA 17084. The venue for the meeting is along Route 655 between Super Shoes and the Brown Township Municipal Office.

The meeting is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance should call Teresa King, Brown Township Manager, at 717-667-2531.

The township received federal funding from the Bridge Off Systems program and county funding to complete this local project. PennDOT is participating in an oversight capacity.
