Route 551 Main Street Railroad Repairs this Week in Lawrence County

Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing railroad maintenance work on Route 551 (Main Street) in Enon Valley Borough, Lawrence County will occur Tuesday and Wednesday, July 16-17 weather permitting.

Route 551 will close between Front Street and Depot Street from 7 a.m. Tuesday morning continuously through 7 p.m. Wednesday night as crews from JMG Global conduct crossroad maintenance and repair work. Traffic will be detoured.

North of the Crossing

  • Take Route 351 (Vine Street) eastbound

  • Vine Street becomes Crescent Drive

  • Bear right onto Cleveland Street

  • Cleveland Street becomes New Galilee Road

  • Turn right onto Route 168 (Elmwood Boulevard)

  • Elmwood Boulevard becomes 2nd Street

  • Turn right onto Route 551 (Market Street)

  • End detour

South of the Closure

  • Same detour in the opposite direction
